NextGenATP Landaluce, Nishikori Receive Madrid Wild Cards

The 2023 Mutua Madrid Open will be held from April 26 to May 7. The clay-court ATP Masters 1000 tournament, established in 2002, will be played at the Caja Mágica in Madrid, Spain.

Spanish youngster Daniel Rincón and Japanese veteran Kei Nishikori have received wild cards into the main draw. Rincón, 20, is currently ranked 256th in the world and has won two Challenger titles this season. Nishikori, a former world number four, is currently ranked 120th and is looking to regain his form after a series of injuries.

The main draw will feature the top players in the world, including Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and Carlos Alcaraz. The tournament will also feature a strong field of NextGenATP players, including Jannik Sinner, Felix Auger-Aliassime, and Lorenzo Musetti.

The Madrid Open is one of the most prestigious tournaments on the ATP Tour. It is also one of the most popular tournaments for fans, with over 250,000 people attending last year's event.
