The Delhi Capitals (DC) have appointed Biju George as their Fielding Coach for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season. The appointment was announced on the team's official website, with a statement confirming that George will join the coaching staff led by Head Coach Ricky Ponting.
George brings a wealth of international coaching experience to the DC franchise. He has previously worked with the Indian national cricket team as their Fielding Coach, and has also had stints with the Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals in the IPL. His expertise in fielding techniques and drills is expected to significantly enhance the team's fielding performance.
Ricky Ponting, who has been at the helm of the DC coaching staff since 2018, expressed his delight at George's appointment.
